Sequoia Diner is looking for a new head baker! Come join our small and friendly kitchen team. You’ll work on a wide range of projects: sourdough bread, hand-laminated danishes, preserves, desserts, and more.

The position is full time, with at least one weekend day required. As of now it is 3 early mornings (6-2:30) and 2 later prep days (10-6:30, flexible.) Experience with naturally leavened bread, viennoiserie, or vegan/gluten free baking would be a big plus. We’re looking for a creative baker who can maintain excellent quality control with our current program while expanding the menu and developing new recipes- desserts and vegan/gluten free items are particular areas where there’s a lot of room to grow.
