There is common confusion about the differences between Pasture Raised, Free Range and Cage Free. The definition of a Pasture Raised Egg is that the hens get to live outdoors year around, except during extreme weather, with 108 sq. ft per bird. They have the option to go into mobile housing to protect themselves from predators, but mainly live on rotated pasture where they can happily forage for bugs and grass which are an essential part of their diet. Here's a great video if you want more information...
